Justin Faulknor is a Hamilton-based singer-songwriter whose handcrafted style draws from the melodic jangle and organic grit of 1960s and 70s rock, folk, and blues. Like his primary influences The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty, he moves between styles with a Philosopher/Fool duality — balancing poetic depth with playful wit.
An English major and McMaster University graduate with a background in film and television production from Sheridan College, his work spans from heart-achingly gentle ballads to raucous rock tunes. His debut album line forms here (2008) was followed by Staring at the Sun (2019) and his latest release Far From Home (2025), featuring the single Girl Like You and its fully handcrafted DIY puppet music video — a love letter to the legacy of Jim Henson.
